Relena Peacecraft found her eyes wandering to a still body hidden in the dark corners of the large auditorium. She knew he was there, watching over her as he always had, ensuring her safety and through her survival, the safety of millions more. ~Heero Yuy...~ she thought, even as she continued on with her speech.
Relena watched the curtain hiding the figure intensely. She caught the very slightest twitch of the fabric, and knew that he had left his post. Relena's voice filled with conviction as she finished her speech, and graciously accepted the approval of the various politicians gathered.
Waiting for just the right moment, she quickly slipped off. She instinctively knew where to go... where to meet Heero.
Oddly enough, despite her great need -- almost desperate desire -- to see Heero, Relena Peacecraft wasn't running. No, the young princess was walking... a little cautiously, a little slowly... she wasn't quite sure if she would like the outcome of whatever happened between Heero and her when they finally met again.
Her steps slowed even more as she reached her destination... a small chapel in the church a few blocks away from the auditorium. Ever since she had been captured yet again, Relena made it a point to remember where she was as she could at all times. She was determined that if another situation like that ever rose again, she wouldn't be a helpless pawn. She wouldn't be sitting still futilely looking at the stars -- which no matter how pretty -- wouldn't be able to help her or provide the answers she needed. ~Never again... not if I can help it... I won't become a burden to anybody ever again...~
Relena took a deep breath, willing herself into entering the sanctuary. Strange how she knew where to meet him... strange how she had leaned on his strength... strange how even as their relationship had started out so... strangely... a mutual respect and admiration had grew... strange... that single word summed up the whole of her connection to Heero. ~Strange... but I suppose it's highly appropriate, considering that we are as well...~ They had even outright said that to each other once... and in such an out-of-place moment that it had to have been true.
She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear, opened the door, and stepped forward. Her eyes blinked rapidly as she tried to adjust her vision in the dim light of the room... her eyes searched for, then found Heero. She smiled as she saw Heero gaze at her solemnly. He hadn't even twitched from his position of sitting on a wooden bench near the very back of the small room; one foot propped up on the pew ahead of him.
"Heero," she said, breaking the silence. Instead of making the situation uncomfortable, that one act seemed to melt away all her anxiety. Because whatever happened, at least... she would have the memories of the time she knew him. She would always remember how just in the very act of being Heero... he had helped her grow up from the spoiled, selfish girl she had been.
And that no matter what happened, she knew that if someone like him could care for someone like her... then there was hope that someone would again.
"Relena," Heero accepted her greeting. He didn’t say anything more, didn’t move a single muscle... but she knew that he was glad to see her, too.
She went to sit next to him on the bench, turning to look at him before she spoke. "Thank you, Heero," she paused, trying to find the right words to express herself.
Heero’s eyes focused on her face intensely, waiting for her to finish.
"I -- thank you," she repeated. She found it slightly irritating that for all her vaunted eloquence and facility with words, she just couldn’t find a way to tell him everything she wanted him to know. She let a rueful smile appear on her face as she gazed into Heero’s eyes, trusting him to understand why.
With his single sharp nod, Heero alleviated her frustration at her struggle to try and express the swirl of emotions inside her that she just *couldn’t* express. And yet somehow... Heero did understand. ~We really are too much alike... too much, and too little at the same time... everything and nothing all at once...~
Relena’s relief was not lost on her companion. His brief, answering smirk told her he really did understand her dilemma.
Her eyes fell on the pack on the ground. "Where are you going now?"
Heero shrugged, "I’m not sure yet."
"Oh," Relena fell silent a moment. Then her crystalline blue eyes twinkled mischievously as she aimed a sideways glance at him, "Well, wherever you end up, make sure to get me a souvenir or two, please?"
"Ninmu ryoukai."
She blinked, startled at his serious tone. "Heero... you don’t have to if you don’t want to," she reassured him, placing a hand on his knee. "I was only -- "
"I want to," he interrupted her, placing his own hand over hers.
Relena felt another soft smile stretch her lips. She couldn’t help it; it seemed that most anything Heero did made her happy. "Thank you in advance."
"Aa," Heero removed his hand from on top of hers and looked down at his booted feet, his dark brows drawing together, seemingly lost in thought.
Relena pulled her hand back and rested in on her own lap, head tilting to look at her suddenly pensive companion. "Heero?" she questioned.
His head snapped up at her voice, turning to regard her. He suddenly stood up, grabbing his pack with one hand and offering her his other hand.
She accepted his unspoken proposition and gracefully drew herself up with his help. She was surprised when Heero didn’t let go of her hand and led her outside. As they passed the Eucharist, she saw the hand Heero had on his pack strap twitch upwards slightly. Then they exited the small room and Relena found herself blinking at the sudden brightness of the sun.
"Heero?" she asked as he released her hand and took a step back from her, dropping his pack on the ground. Relena was surprised yet again as Heero smiled at her -- a genuine smile filled with understanding and promise and joy. She took an involuntary step nearer him, an answering smile blossoming on her face even as she tried to puzzle out his erratic behavior.
With the sweet expression still on her features, Relena clasped her hands together and simply looked at Heero. She didn’t quite know what was happening with him. But she knew she liked what she saw.
Heero’s smile faded away and his face resumed its usual serious expression. He held out his hand to her once again, palm facing upwards, and looked at her expectantly.
Relena did as he silently requested and placed her hand on his, somehow not surprised when he yanked her forward. Thrown off-balance, she stumbled into his arms, inwardly laughing in delight at Heero’s rather unorthodox methods. He engulfed her in a warm embrace, and her arms reached up to clasp his back in response.
With her honey blonde head resting on his hard shoulder, Heero tightened his grip on her, "Thank you," his low, soft voice whispered in her ear... and then he let go.
Heero shouldered his pack, took one last look at her, then started walking off.
A faint blush on her cheeks, Relena looked away briefly and tucked her hair behind her ears. Her eyes rose up to look at Heero’s receding back. ~I can't depend on his strength anymore,~ she realized.
But despite her past habit of seeking Heero out and relying on him to help her with whatever life had thrown at her, another realization hit her at that moment. And with that awareness, she didn’t feel the need to reach out for him as she had before.
A brilliant smile crossed her face and she wished him good luck and happiness in whatever path he chose to venture before turning to head to her own destination as well, her silky hair flying out with her movement.
She didn’t need to depend on Heero’s strength anymore.
Relena Peacecraft... Princess of the Sank Kingdom, former Queen of the World, the Vice-Minister’s daughter, the Vice-Minister herself... simply just a single girl... had her own.
/Oh, dream maker You heartbreaker/
Hirde Schbeiker watched as Duo Maxwell, ex-Gundam pilot extraordinaire, propped his chin on his hand as he leaned forward while he talked to her. "Everything's finally over, this is so great," he smiled in satisfaction. "And once again, I come out smelling like a rose."
"Duo!" she laughed. "You're just too unbelievable sometimes." She took a sip from her drink before continuing, "So what do you plan to do now that things *are* finally over?"
Duo frowned thoughtfully, "Actually, I'm not sure what I do want to do. We worked the salvage thing already, I don’t know if I want to keep on doing that. Maybe I'll just wander around for awhile, I don't know. Where do you want to go?"
Hirde bit her lower lip, tempted to follow Duo as she had always done, but something told her that she shouldn't... no matter how much she wanted to, no matter how much her heart screamed for her to take what she could get from the charming, breath-taking boy sitting across from her... she knew she shouldn't. "Iie... not this time, Duo. I... I think I'll go back to L2 and continue the business... keep it open until you get back, you know?"
She knew Duo was surprised that she had refused his offer. After she had always found a way to return to his side even when he wanted her to stay put and not get hurt... now that he had asked, she had turned him down? "If you're sure about it," he replied, throwing her a cutely puzzled glance. He whipped out his cell phone and dangled it a bit for emphasis, "If you change your mind, you know my number."
"Of course," Hirde smiled sadly. "I know it by heart."
Duo visibly brightened at her words, "Good. We'll definitely keep in touch," he winked. "I can't let one of my best friends just fade away in the woodwork."
"Speaking of which..." Hirde chose a small dumpling carefully, sliding it onto her plate, "have you heard from any of the others lately?" She took a delicate bite as she expectantly looked at Duo.
"Wufei got conned into working for the Preventers by Sally... Noin and Zechs disappeared to go work on the Mars terraforming project or something; I'm not quite sure what happened to those two... Trowa's at the Circus with Cathrine... Quatre took over the family business and stuff... and I don't know what happened to Heero. Last I saw, he was watching over Relena," Duo shrugged. "Good luck to him, too. She seems to get into more trouble than any other female I know, and considering the females I do know," he threw Hirde a significant glance -- which she ignored, of course, "that's saying a lot."
"Thank you, Duo," Hirde said wryly. She finished the rest of her meal quickly, Duo also opting to polish off his share.
Hirde smiled as Duo waved away her effort to split the bill. "My treat. You've always done so much for me, this is the *very* least of what I can do for you."
"Duo... you're my friend, that's all you ever needed to do," Hirde said softly, a bit sadly. She wanted to him to be more for her, but she also valued his friendship too much to push him into leaving...
The pair vacated the cafe, and chose to take a walk around a nearby park. Hirde laughed slightly as Duo was roped into a game of jumping rope with a few girls. Literally, in fact. Duo had been too busy talking with her to notice that he had wandered into the girls' path and his braid had gotten tangled in the rope.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" a girl said tearfully, "We didn't mean to hurt you!" Her friends nodded in earnest agreement.
Waving away their mortified apologies, Duo reassured them that there was no harm done. "Don't worry about it, I like jumping rope, too." He grinned charmingly at the huddled group of preadolescents.
"Really?" a girl ventured timidly, afraid that the older boy would become angry with them.
"Really," Duo responded brightly. He looked at Hirde briefly; she smiled and nodded her consent, "If you don't mind, can I join for a while?"
With suddenly bright demeanors, Duo had been quickly wangled into skipping double Dutch with the group, the rope twirling faster and faster, Duo gamely keeping up and rattling off a silly song.
Hirde was amused as she watched. A few of the group watched Duo with starry eyes and beaming smiles. "He's so nice," a girl with a bouncy blonde ponytail broke off and approached Hirde, "he's nothing like my brother. He'd've stolen our things away and yelled at us and been so mean." The others nodded, agreeing with the speaker's words even as they watched Duo with rapt eyes.
Hirde realized that was why the small group of girls had been so scared of Duo's reaction. "Yes," she smiled down reassuringly at the girl, "he is nice, isn't he?"
"When I grow up," the girl continued undauntedly, eyes once more focused on Duo, "I want to marry someone like him. You're very lucky to have him."
Hirde was taken aback by the young girl's words, and her simple assumption that Duo and her were together, "Um, yes... thank you."
With a final bright smile, the girl ran back to her friends just as Duo finally agilely hopped out of the frantically whirling ropes.
"Thanks for letting me join in," he panted slightly, waving to the group. Hirde joined his side and the group of little girls yelled goodbye to the pair of teenagers happily.
The girl with the bouncy ponytail stared at the path the two had taken long after they had retreated from her sight. "I want someone like him..." Suddenly, she was pulled back into the game by her friends, who were squealing excitedly at the new song they had learned from their unexpected playmate.
Hirde looked at Duo out of the corner of her eyes, watching him as he watched the sun set with a soft smile on his face. He had his arms propped up on the hard back of the bench they were sitting in. "This was a nice idea, Duo," she said softly. "It was fun leaving L2 and the business for a break here on Earth." Her focus went on the sun painting the sky in tones of reds and oranges, then her attention strayed back to watching Duo.
He turned to look at her, grinning exuberantly. "I thought you’d like it."
They watched the sunset, sitting in companionable silence, and then the moon rose with a sort of dreadful finality.
Duo sighed and stretched, standing up and faced her, "I suppose we ought to get moving already."
"I guess this is goodbye." Unbidden -- unwanted, but still there -- tears sprang into her eyes.
"Iie," Duo shook his head firmly. He moved to place his hand on her cheek, his other hand fumbling in a pocket of his. He finally found the handkerchief he was searching for and wiped her tears away gently. "Not ‘goodbye’, but ‘see you later’. It's never goodbye, not for us," he reassured her with a confident look in his eyes.
Hirde felt her depressed spirits rising up at Duo's sure proclamation. Even if he never became hers in the way she wanted him to, she was assured of the fact that he was still hers in a way. "No, not goodbye."
/Wherever you're going I'm going your way/
Lucrezia Noin looked out the window of the space shuttle she was currently traveling in, ~So pretty...~ Her gaze wandered to the tall figure walking towards here. Zechs Merquise smoothly slid into the seat next to her. Noin looked at him quizzically when he handed her a sheaf of papers. She took a quick glance through the contents, frowning as she took in the meaning of the words. She aimed a sharp glance at him, "Zechs... what were you thinking?"
His face kept maddeningly, studiously neutral, he responded, "I wanted to give you another option." His eyes grew disturbingly distant, "I didn’t want to chain you to this project for more time than you really wanted to."
Noin shook her head, "Zechs..." she waited for his eyes to meet hers and said firmly, "I’ve told you once, and now you’re making me tell you this for a second time. I want to stay with you." She gave him the papers again, smiling as she said, "Please don’t make me say it again. You’ll make me think you don’t trust me."
Zechs’ icy blue eyes bored into hers searchingly. Noin unflinchingly held his gaze, supremely confident and sure of her choice. Finally, Zechs nodded. "If you’re sure about it."
"Of course," she said, turning to look out the window once more. She felt, rather than actually saw, Zechs observing her. "Zechs... don’t worry about it." She changed position to look at him more clearly. "I’ve known... I’ve always known."
An elegant brow swept upwards in query. "Have you?"
"Ever since I met you, I’ve always known that I was meant to be with you," she explained. She laughed as Zechs... elegant, composed, confident, imperial, regal Zechs... grew flustered at her words. Her eyes twinkled as she teased him, "But don’t let it get to your head."
Zechs lips quirked at her addendum. "Noin, for what it’s worth..." he leaned in and said in his rumbling purr near her ear, "I’ve always known that, too." He leaned back, looked away for a moment, then gazed at her sideways, "Even with everything that had went on... I still knew that, too." Then he finally looked away, seemingly embarrassed at the almost too cloying exchange they had. He cleared his throat, "I’m going to get a drink. Would you care for one as well?"
"You know what I like," she responded, eyes still crinkled in amusement as Zechs paused at her reply, cleared his throat once more and hurried off, his movements still as smooth and honeyed as they always were... but she knew how disconcerted he was at their simple conversation.
"Excuse me..." a voice discreetly broke her thoughts.
"Yes?" Noin turned to look at the speaker. "May I help you?"
"Is this yours?" The young man held out the sheaf that Zechs had obtained for her. "I was on my way back to my seat when I noticed it on the ground." He took a quick glance at the cover and read it out loud, "‘Terra-forming Project: Earth Side...’ it seems important," he commented, trying to give it back to Noin. "The Mars project is very vital to the Earth."
"Do you know much about the project?"
The man nodded, "I’m a Colony Leader and I’ve been keeping track of the releases the President occasionally gives out. In fact, I want to help out myself, but I’m really not quite sure how to get on about it."
"Aa," Noin said, frowning thoughtfully. "May I have the papers for a moment?"
"Of course, aren’t they --?"
Noin quickly flipped to a page in the booklet and ripped out a page to hand to the man. She smiled at him encouragingly, "There’s a contact person in there if you want to help."
"Thank you," he said, quizzically looking at the page Noin had given him. He looked at her. "I’m sorry, but isn’t this yours?"
Noin laughed and explained, "That’s for people helping the project along."
"That’s right, miss."
"No, that isn’t mine," she reassured the man. "You can keep the number, you apparently need them more than I do if you want to get in touch with somebody who can help you find a job."
"But -- "
Noin smiled at the man once more then turned to look at Zechs carefully holding two drinks as he walked back to his seat. "No, I’m going to be working on the project itself."
"All right, thank you, miss."
Zechs asked idly as he handed Noin her drink, "Who was that?"
"A new volunteer," she responded. She took a look at her companion, the man she had given up... no, had lived most of her life for... and gave him an embrace, burying her head in his chest even as he raised his arms up to enfold her within them.
"Noin?"
She smiled; her voice muffled by the fabric of his clothing slightly, "I’m so very glad to have met you."
Zechs' chest rumbled comfortingly under her cheek, "I’m glad to have met you, too."

"I’m so happy you finally got here!" Cathrine Bloom greeted Trowa Barton brightly as he entered her small trailer.
"‘nee-san... I -- what is this?"
Cathrine laughed as Trowa gained the most adorably puzzled expression on his face. He looked at the wrapped box she had handed him. He shook the box gently; frowning thoughtfully at the shuffling noise that came from it. His green eyes met hers and he smiled. "Go on," she encouraged him. "Open it."
Trowa smiled faintly at her and did as she said. His eyes widened, and his head whipped to look at her. "Is this...?"
"Yes," Cathrine almost bubbled over in her excitement. "Ne, Trowa, I know you were worried about how I was going to manage if you’d left and everything. And I don’t want to hold you back." Cathrine quelled Trowa’s immediate protest by placing a finger on his lips and winking at him before continuing, "But now this way... you don’t have to worry." She beamed at him brightly, "Maybe you can visit your friend then, ne?"
"Quatre," Trowa clarified automatically. He looked down at the object in his hands carefully, flipping through the pages. Cathrine blinked as Trowa handed back the box. She frowned as he excused himself, murmuring some vague excuse about caring for the lions.
Her brow furrowed in confusion. Scanning the records, she couldn’t find anything that would have gotten that kind of a reaction from him. If anything, he should’ve been just as happy as she that her birth family had finally found her. ~What was he --? Oh. That.~ She blew her bangs upward with an exasperated sigh. Trowa was just so infuriating sometimes.
Shouldn’t he have known by now that she’d never really leave him?’
Didn’t he understand that he was her family, too?
Cathrine approached Trowa silently. But she could see that she hadn’t been quiet enough. Trowa’s hand twitched slightly as he petted the mane of a lion. She draped a blanket over his shoulders then crouched down to his level. "I thought you’d be cold."
"Thank you," he said quietly.
Cathrine sighed and gently forced Trowa to make eye contact with her. She felt sad at how troubled his normally calm... almost disturbingly blank... green eyes stared at her. "Do you want to talk about it?"
"Talk about it?" Trowa repeated.
"Hai," Cathrine drew herself up and hauled Trowa to his feet as well. "But not here." She dragged him off to his trailer, counting on the fact that he would have food and drinks ready, or at least easy to prepare. Not like hers, where the only things residing in the small bar fridge was a jar with a few olives floating around in it and a couple of slices of bread. The end slices. She made a mental note to get some groceries soon. She couldn’t depend on Trowa cooking for her all the time, after all.
Cathrine plunked Trowa down on a battered chair and went to fetch a hot drink. "Coffee’s fine, right?" she called out.
"Aa."
Quickly preparing two steaming mugs, she handed Trowa one and took the seat across from him. Leaning on the table separating them, she asked again, "Do you want to talk about it?"
Trowa stared into the dark depths of his coffee, "Iie."
Cathrine frowned again. If he kept this up, she was going to get wrinkles, god forbid and knock on wood. She paused and did so, then said, "We’re talking about it anyway."
Trowa continued to stare into his cup, avoiding her eyes.
Cathrine sighed, "Trowa..." she waited for him to look up and when he didn’t continued, "You’re family."
"No, not really... they found you now..."
You don’t need me anymore, floated unsaid after his words. Unspoken, but the meaning was conveyed by his suddenly sad demeanor. The fact that he was visibly showing how upset he was showed how upset he was.
Normally Trowa was calm, cool, collected... Usually. There were some natural exceptions, of course.
Exasperated with his stubborn refusal to see the truth, she just said outright, "You don’t have to worry about us not keeping touch. You’re my family, Trowa. Even more than the people who contacted me are. The circus is more family than they are, and you’re above them." Trowa finally looked up, and Cathrine was encouraged. "So don’t worry, Trowa! I’m your ‘nee-san," she winked, "it’s a lifetime commitment. You won’t be able to get rid of me that easily."
Cathrine’s confidence suddenly reassured Trowa and the sad, lost look stole away from his eyes to be replaced with an easy warmth. "‘nee-san..."
"Hai?" she leaned forward, eagerly anticipating Trowa’s next words. She wasn’t disappointed.
"I think I’ll go visit Quatre for awhile."

"Damnit, woman! Hold still!"
Sally Po suppressed a laugh as Chang Wufei desperately tried to stop her from rocking the small boat they were in. "What’s wrong?" she asked innocently, knowing full-well that Wufei had the strangest obsession with keeping his immaculate white pants as pristine as possible. And even though white was generally not an easy color to maintain, somehow he did it. She’d always wondered how he managed to keep clean during the war. Or more accurately, during the *fighting*. How he never had gotten splashed with blood -- his own or somebody else’s -- or touched by the dirt was a mystery to her.
So with that conundrum constantly niggling in the back of her mind, Sally sought to find out by placing Wufei in the most dirt-attracting activities and places as she could. Frustratingly enough, Wufei always managed to stay shiningly clean -- with only maybe a few strands of hair escaping his ponytail -- and she always managed to come out of her little experiments puzzled... and dirty. Dust on her cheek, mud on her boots... things she didn’t dare try to categorize or else she knew she’d scream in disgust residing in her hair... Never mind the fact that she had nerves of steel and had never given in to anything during the war.
"I’m warning you, Sally..." Wufei snarled, hot temper running close to the surface. "Stop it and sit down already." He crossed his arms over his chest and stared at her, "This was your idea. Stop messing around."
With a little laugh, Sally sat down with exaggerated care and reached over to pinch Wufei’s cheek. He swatted away her hand, and she batted her eyelashes at him teasingly, "Why, Wufei... I’d almost think you weren’t enjoying this --" She swept to her feet, intent on making a grandiose gesture to dramatize her point... when her sudden movement caused her to trip and fall over the edge. The resounding splash as she entered the water made the boat finally flip over. Sally floundered for the surface, sputtering water. A firm hand helped her reach the overturned boat. Using the boat to help her float on the water, an exasperated, "You have *got* to be kidding me!" burst from her lips. For yet once more, Wufei had escaped unscathed. She demanded, "How did you not fall in?"
"Woman," Wufei said, an amused smile on his face. Apparently, her undignified spectacle had brightened his mood, "Your stunt made the boat turn over, yes. But I performed a simple flip and landed on it."
"Wufei, you’re absolutely amazing, did you know that?" the smile Sally aimed at him was a bit strained. She was trying to ignore the fact that her normally lovely coif was currently hanging in stringy strands across her face and down her back. And trying to ignore the fact that he was laughing at her misfortune instead of helping her out.
She ground her teeth behind her smile. Maybe she’d concede that Wufei just had a sixth sense about keeping pristine. Maybe she’d give up her experiment and just let him be.
"You know how you said that if you didn’t know better, you didn’t think I was enjoying myself?"
Wufei’s question made her wary. "Yes?" she replied, suspiciously knowing where it was leading...
Wufei’s smile turned into a smirk, "I’m enjoying myself."
Sally suddenly yanked Wufei’s leg quickly -- too quickly for him to react -- causing him to topple into the water. She watched in satisfaction as he floundered around for a bit as well before grabbing hold of the boat edge.
"Woman..." his impeding threat was cut off as she gave him a quick little kiss. His eyes widened, and a faint flush rose in his cheeks. "Sally?" he almost squeaked.
She said brightly, "I’m enjoying myself, too." *Her* mood had been brightened by Wufei’s adorable confusion. Not to mention the fact that he had *finally* succumbed to the dirt that normal people fought everyday. ~I need to spend less time with him. I’m ranting too much for my peace of mind.~
Stopping Wufei’s automatic comeback by tweaking his nose, she told him, "You’re too cute to act so uptight."
Wufei merely flushed again and cleared his throat. "I -- " Carefully avoiding her mirthful gaze, he responded in a lowered voice, "So are you."
Sally laughed, "Maybe there’s hope for you after all."

"Heero!" A deep voice called in surprise.
Heero paused and waited for a slender boy to catch up to him. Duo slapped him on the back in friendly greeting. Surprising both himself and Duo, Heero didn’t scowl, didn’t glare... didn’t even take a moment to stare at Duo with a flat expression on his face. "Duo," he acknowledged his presence. Instead, Heero found himself smiling back at the familiar face of his... friend.
Heero watched as Duo blinked in surprise then shrugged his reaction off. "What are you doing here?" Duo asked. A playful smile crossed his face and he looked around quizzically. "Is the princess here as well?"
Heero shook his head; faintly puzzled as to why Duo would think Relena would be with him. "Iie... she’s in Sank right now." He looked at Duo questioningly as well. "How about you... is that girl around somewhere?"
Duo frowned, "No, Hirde’s back at the business. She said she didn’t think she should wander around with me."
"Aa."
"Yeah..." Duo shook his head, making his braid bounce lightly on his back. He grinned invitingly, "Anyways, do you want to go somewhere and catch up? Or do you have to be somewhere?"
"I can stay for as long as I like," Heero responded.
Duo slung an arm over Heero’s shoulders. "Then I’ll just have to make sure that you like, ne?"
Ne, ne... I was just wondering... could you find any traces of yaoi in this? Shonen ai even?
Duo: {amazed}I wasn't tortured, killed, or mutilated...
